Post to Discord Channels from NanoClaw
NanoClaw can send and schedule Discord channel messages through Postiz. Message NanoClaw from WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, or even Discord itself, name the target channel, and give it the text, media, and time. It uses the Postiz skill to post as your Postiz bot into that channel at the scheduled moment.

Discord has a few rules that Postiz enforces at publish time. NanoClaw applies them when you mention them in plain language, and asks when a required value is missing.
- ✓channel is required and must be a Discord channel ID, not a name. Enable Developer Mode in Discord, right-click the channel, and copy its ID, or let NanoClaw look it up via integrations:settings.
- ✓Messages are posted by the Postiz bot, so the bot must be invited to the server and have permission to post in that channel.
- ✓Discord messages are capped at 2,000 characters. Ask NanoClaw to split long updates or attach a file.
- ✓Media is uploaded through Postiz first, then attached to the message. Send the file in chat or reference a path in the container.

How do I post to Discord from NanoClaw?

Can NanoClaw post to Discord if I message it from Discord?
Yes. NanoClaw itself connects to Discord as one of its chat channels, and Postiz posts to Discord through a separate bot. You can message NanoClaw in one server and have it schedule a Postiz announcement to another channel or server, as long as the Postiz bot has access there.
How does NanoClaw find the Discord channel ID?
Two ways. You can copy the ID yourself by enabling Developer Mode in Discord settings and right-clicking the channel. Or NanoClaw can run postiz integrations:settings for your Discord channel to list the channels the Postiz bot can see and match the name you gave it to the right ID.
Can NanoClaw send recurring Discord updates?
Yes. Ask NanoClaw in chat for a recurring job, such as a weekly changelog every Friday at 4pm. It wakes on schedule, gathers the content you point it at, and posts through Postiz to the channel you named. Because it runs in an isolated container, it keeps working while you are away.
Do I need to create my own Discord bot for NanoClaw?
No. Postiz provides the bot; you add it to your server when connecting Discord in the Postiz dashboard. NanoClaw only needs to authenticate to Postiz with postiz auth:login or a POSTIZ_API_KEY. No bot tokens, application IDs, or webhooks are required on the NanoClaw side.
