How much does it cost?

The Claude connector has no separate charge. Postiz starts with a 7-day free trial, then plans run from $29 per month for 5 channels to $99 per month for 100 channels. Every plan includes AI video and clipping minutes, and AI images are included from the Team plan up.

How is access secured?

Claude connects through OAuth: you sign in to Postiz and approve access, and no API key or password is stored in the chat. Claude only reaches the channels already connected in your Postiz account. Disconnect any time from Connectors in your Claude settings.

Something not working?

Claude can't see any channels: connect your social accounts in Postiz first, then ask Claude to list connected channels.
Claude says it can't generate images or videos: you are on the official directory connector. Add the custom MCP link instead.
Claude asks you to sign in again: approve access once more; the OAuth session is renewed without an API key.

Anthropic's directory terms do not allow media-generation tools in official connectors, so the directory version of Postiz covers listing channels, posting, scheduling, and analytics. To unlock image generation, video generation, and clipping, add Postiz as a custom connector in Claude using the MCP link. Everything else works the same way.

Is Claude the same as Claude Code or Claude Cowork?

No. This page covers Claude itself, the chat assistant on claude.ai, desktop, and mobile, where you add Postiz as a connector. Claude Code is Anthropic's terminal coding agent and adds Postiz with a claude mcp add command. Claude Cowork is the desktop agent that runs the Postiz CLI and MCP tools.
