NanoClaw can send and schedule Slack channel messages through Postiz. Message NanoClaw from WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, or Slack itself, name the channel, and give it the text, files, and time. It uses the Postiz skill to post into that Slack channel as the Postiz app at the scheduled time.

What should I know before posting to Slack from NanoClaw?

Slack has a few rules that Postiz enforces at publish time. NanoClaw applies them when you mention them in plain language, and asks when a required value is missing.

✓channel is required and is a Slack channel ID (like C12345), not a name. NanoClaw can list channels with postiz integrations:settings and match the name you use.
✓The Postiz Slack app must be a member of the channel. Invite it with /invite in Slack before scheduling.
✓Slack messages can hold a lot of text, but long updates read better as a short message with a file or thread. Ask NanoClaw to keep it concise.
✓Files are uploaded through Postiz first. Send them to NanoClaw in chat or reference a path inside its container workspace.

How does NanoClaw get the Slack channel ID?

NanoClaw runs postiz integrations:settings for your Slack channel to list the channels the Postiz app can post to, then matches the name you mention to its ID (for example C12345). You can also copy the ID from the channel details panel in Slack and paste it into your message.

Can NanoClaw schedule recurring Slack messages?

Yes. Ask NanoClaw in chat for a recurring job, for example a standup reminder every weekday at 9am or a metrics summary every Friday. It runs on that schedule inside its container and posts through Postiz to the channel you named. You can review upcoming posts in the Postiz calendar.

Does NanoClaw need a Slack bot token?

No. Slack is connected to Postiz with OAuth in the Postiz dashboard, and Postiz stores the workspace connection. NanoClaw authenticates only to Postiz, with postiz auth:login or a POSTIZ_API_KEY inside its container. No Slack app tokens or webhooks are needed on the NanoClaw side.
