How to set up Postiz for Pinterest in Perplexity Computer

Setup takes two steps: add Postiz as a custom MCP connector in Perplexity (OAuth, no API key) or install the Postiz CLI skill, then connect your Pinterest account in Postiz. After that, you just ask.

Pinterest rules Perplexity Computer has to respect

Pinterest enforces a few rules on every post. Postiz exposes them as settings, and Perplexity Computer applies them, but knowing them helps you phrase the request.

✓Every pin needs an image or video uploaded through Postiz; there is no text-only pin.
✓board is required and takes the board id, which Computer reads from the Postiz channel settings.
✓Pin titles are limited to 100 characters; keep descriptions under 500 characters.
✓link is the destination URL people land on when they click the pin; it is optional but drives traffic.
✓dominant_color expects a hex code such as #FF6B35 and only affects how Pinterest renders the placeholder.
