What WordPress rules should the agent follow?

WordPress rejects posts that break its limits, so the agent needs these constraints up front. Put them in the task or in your Paperclip agent's instructions.

✓type is required: post or page. Posts appear in your blog feed; pages are standalone and do not.
✓title is required (at least 2 characters). main_image sets the featured image and is uploaded through Postiz first.
✓Connect each WordPress site as its own channel in Postiz if you run several sites, then name the site in the task.
✓Categories, tags, and custom fields are not part of the Postiz WordPress settings; edit those in WordPress after publishing if needed.

Can a Paperclip agent create WordPress pages as well as posts?

Yes. The type setting accepts post or page. Say "create a page" for standalone content such as a changelog or landing page, and "publish a post" for blog entries. Both accept a title and a featured image, and both can be scheduled or published immediately.

How does Paperclip set the featured image on WordPress?

Give the agent an image and ask for it as the featured image. It uploads the file with postiz upload and passes the returned ID and path in main_image. WordPress then shows it as the post thumbnail in your theme and in social previews.
