What Warpcast rules should the agent follow?

Warpcast rejects posts that break its limits, so the agent needs these constraints up front. Put them in the task or in your Paperclip agent's instructions.

✓Casts are limited to 320 bytes of text, roughly 320 characters. Ask the agent to keep casts short or split into a thread of replies.
✓Channel targeting uses the subreddit array field with a Farcaster channel id (for example dev). It is optional; omit it to cast to your home feed.
✓Your Farcaster account is connected once in Postiz. Casts are signed through that connection, so agents never hold a signer key.
✓Media is uploaded through Postiz and attached as embeds.

Is Warpcast the same as Farcaster?

Farcaster is the decentralized social protocol; Warpcast is the most popular client for it. Postiz connects to your Farcaster account, so casts published by your Paperclip agent appear in Warpcast and in every other Farcaster client that reads the same protocol data.

How does a Paperclip agent target a Farcaster channel?

Name the channel in the task, for example /dev or /design. The agent places the channel id in the subreddit array field, which Postiz uses for Farcaster channels despite the name. Leave it out and the cast goes to your home feed only.

What is the character limit for casts through Postiz?

Farcaster limits a cast to 320 bytes, about 320 characters of plain text, and less if you use emoji or non-Latin characters. Ask the agent to write tight one-liners, or to split longer content into a cast followed by replies in a thread.
