Pinterest rules Hermes Agent has to follow

Postiz validates every Pinterest post before it is scheduled, so these limits and required settings decide whether a request succeeds.

▸Every pin needs an image or video uploaded through postiz upload. Text-only pins are not possible.
▸board is required. Hermes resolves the board ID from the name you give; ask it to list boards if you are unsure.
▸Pin titles are limited to 100 characters. The post content becomes the pin description.
▸The link field sets where the pin sends people. Without it the pin has no click destination.

How does Hermes Agent pick the right Pinterest board?

The board setting takes a board ID, not a name. Hermes fetches your boards through Postiz, matches the name you mentioned, and passes the ID. If two boards have similar names, Hermes should ask which one you mean before scheduling the pin.

Can Hermes Agent add a link to a Pinterest pin?

Yes. Tell Hermes where the pin should lead and it sets the link field to that URL. Pinterest shows the destination when someone clicks the pin, which is how pins drive traffic to a blog post or product page. Without a link the pin is image only.
