Facebook rules Hermes Agent has to follow

Postiz validates every Facebook post before it is scheduled, so these limits and required settings decide whether a request succeeds.

▸Postiz publishes to Facebook Pages you manage, not to personal profiles. Connect the Page in Postiz before asking Hermes to post.
▸For a link preview, give Hermes the URL and it sets the url field. A URL only in the text does not guarantee a preview card.
▸Photos and videos must be uploaded with postiz upload first. External media URLs are rejected at publish time.
▸Facebook allows very long posts, but the first few lines are what appear before "See more". Ask Hermes to front-load the hook.

No. Facebook's API only allows scheduled publishing to Pages, so Postiz connects Pages, not personal profiles. If you manage several Pages, each one is a separate Postiz channel. Tell Hermes which Page you mean, or it will ask before scheduling.

How does Hermes Agent add a link preview to a Facebook post?

Give Hermes the link and ask for a preview. It sets the url setting on the Facebook post, which tells Facebook to fetch the page and render its title, description, and image as a card. The post text itself can still contain a short teaser or call to action.
