LinkedIn rules Grok Bot follows

Grok Bot reads the LinkedIn rules from postiz integrations:settings before scheduling. These are the ones that most often change what gets published.

✓Personal profiles use __type linkedin and company pages use linkedin-page. Tell the Bot which one you mean, or it asks.
✓Carousels need post_as_images_carousel set to true and at least two uploaded images. A carousel_name is optional but shows in the LinkedIn UI.
✓LinkedIn posts allow up to 3,000 characters. Grok Bot keeps long-form content within the limit or asks to trim it.
✓Every image must go through postiz upload before the Bot can attach it. Raw paths and external URLs are not accepted.

How do I post to LinkedIn from Grok Bot?

Add the Postiz plugin with /add-plugin postiz, store your POSTIZ_API_KEY as a Bot secret, then ask the Bot to post. It lists your Postiz channels, picks your LinkedIn profile or company page, composes the update, uploads media, and schedules it. You approve before publishing.

Can Grok Bot post to a LinkedIn company page?

Yes. Connect the company page in Postiz and it appears as a linkedin-page channel. Say "our company page" in your request and Grok Bot sets the right channel. You can post to a personal profile and a company page in the same request with different copy.

Can Grok Bot create LinkedIn image carousels?

Yes. Point the Bot at a folder of images and ask for a carousel. It uploads each image through Postiz, sets post_as_images_carousel to true, and gives the carousel a name if you provide one. LinkedIn shows the images as a swipeable document post.

Can Grok Bot schedule LinkedIn posts on a recurring schedule?

Yes. Save the task as a routine, for example a Friday recap or a Monday industry note. The Bot runs it from its own cloud computer, drafts the post, schedules it through Postiz, and messages you a summary. Approvals keep a human in the loop.

Does Grok Bot need a LinkedIn API key?

No. You connect LinkedIn to Postiz once through LinkedIn's own OAuth flow. Grok Bot only needs your Postiz API key, stored as a Bot secret. The Bot never sees your LinkedIn password and can only post to channels already connected in your Postiz workspace.
