Hashnode rules Grok Bot follows

Grok Bot reads the Hashnode rules from postiz integrations:settings before scheduling. These are the ones that most often change what gets published.

✓publication is required. Grok Bot fetches your Hashnode publications with postiz integrations:settings and uses the ID.
✓At least one tag is required and tags are passed by Hashnode tag ID, not free text. The Bot resolves tag IDs for you.
✓title must be at least 6 characters; subtitle, if used, at least 2. The Bot asks when a title is too short.
✓Cover images (main_image) must be uploaded through postiz upload first.

How do I publish to Hashnode from Grok Bot?

Why does Hashnode need tags and a publication when Grok Bot posts?

Hashnode's API requires a publication ID and at least one tag on every post. Grok Bot handles both: it fetches your publications and the tag catalog from Postiz, maps the names you used to IDs, and fills the required fields. Without them the post is rejected.

Can Grok Bot set a canonical URL on Hashnode posts?

Yes. Tell the Bot the article was first published on your blog and it sets the canonical field to that URL. Hashnode adds the canonical link so search engines credit the original, which makes Hashnode a safe place to syndicate content.

Can Grok Bot add a cover image to Hashnode posts?

Yes. Point the Bot at an image and it uploads it through postiz upload, then sets main_image with the returned id and path. Hashnode shows the cover on the post and in your publication feed. Raw paths and external URLs are not accepted by Postiz.

Can Grok Bot publish to Hashnode on a weekly routine?
