What is the difference between a Twitch message and an announcement?

Can Claude Cowork schedule Twitch messages before I go live?

Yes. Give Cowork the stream time and it schedules the reminder through Postiz for a few minutes before, for example a purple announcement at 7:55pm. You can queue a whole week of go-live announcements in one request and adjust them later.

Is this different from Twitch posting with Claude Code?

The Postiz features are the same. Claude Code is Anthropic's terminal agent and connects with a claude mcp add command or the Postiz CLI. Claude Cowork is the desktop agent, so Postiz is added as a connector in the app and you describe the announcement in plain language.

Does Cowork need my Twitch password or a bot account?

No. You connect Twitch to Postiz once through Twitch's OAuth screen, and Cowork authenticates to Postiz through OAuth when you add the connector. Messages post from your connected Twitch account, and you can revoke access from Twitch's connections settings at any time.
